Donghae squid is a representative specialty of Donghae City, caught in the clean and deep waters of the East Sea, known for its exceptionally firm flesh and subtle sweetness.

It is primarily processed into semi-dried squid (pidegi), which is dried moistly in the clean sea breeze while still fresh, and is loved nationwide for its tender texture.

Donghae giant octopus is a magnificent octopus mainly fished in the cold, deep sea, known for its extremely firm and chewy flesh, which releases a subtle sweetness and savory flavor with every bite.

Growing in cold waters, it boasts the best texture and is a popular specialty of Donghae City's pristine marine environment, as well as a restorative food.

Eonbaram Mukhottae is a premium dried pollock created by repeatedly freezing and thawing in the cold winter sea breeze and snow of the East Sea, on the coastal hills overlooking Mukho Port.

Through the natural drying process, the flesh becomes fluffy and tender, characterized by a light yet deep umami flavor.
